The SSI Scuba Diver Certification lets you dive with a dive professional to a depth of 40 feet. It requires half of the necessary requirements to meet the Open Water Diver certification and is often awarded to those that will feel more comfortable diving with a professional and avoiding the deeper diving until they get a little experience under their belt.
